Malaysian singer Eison Chai found dead at MRT station in Taiwan
Taiwan police are opening an investigation into the circumstances behind the singer’s death
ACCORDING to Focus Taiwan, local police say Malaysian pop singer Eison Chai was found dead Wednesday morning after an apparent fall from the Luzhou MRT station building in Taipei, Taiwan.
In a statement, The New Taipei Luzhou Police Precinct said that the 40-year-old entertainer fell from the building at around 10am, and was found dead on the spot near Luzhou MRT station’s Exit 3. No other details were immediately available.
The precinct has launched an investigation into the incident.
Eison, was married to Taiwanese actress Hitomi Wu and rose to fame after winning season two of Taiwanese singing competition Super Idol.
