Teoh worked as a vocal teacher in Malaysia for nine years, appearing in local productions of Merrily We Roll Along (2014) and Tick Tick Boom (2015). After moving to Britain in 2017 with his wife, he became active in the theatre scene there and started attending auditions.

The two ‘Wicked’ movies Teoh is joining are prequels to ‘The Wizard of Oz’, telling the origin stories of the Wicked Witch of the West and the Good Witch. As the movies are still in the casting process don’t expect to be out anytime soon, with a current release date of December 2024 and 2025.
