‘Malaysia is our second home’ – Radja returned despite the trauma of being threatened with death
ALTHOUGH still traumatized after receiving death threats from the organizers of the show a few months ago, the Radja group still wanting to meet their fans in Malaysia.
Radja consisting of Ian Kasela, Seno Aji and Mouldyanshah Mulyadi received death threats while performing in Johor Bahru last March.
“As a normal human being, it is natural to feel traumatized. Definitely yes, there is trauma. And past incident was really disturbing.
“But Malaysia is our second home. There’s no way we won’t come back or come here again.
“There are still many fans on social media who want Radja to return to perform concerts in Malaysia,” said Radja’s vocalist, Ian Kasela.
Ian, 49, added that the incident did not want to be a ‘burden’ for Radja to move forward.
“We want to move on and think positively because if we talk about whether or not it is appropriate for musicians to face the issue (death threats), it is beyond our control.
“But for sure Radja always wants to visit Malaysia again,” he said.
Radja’s guitarist, Mouldy said they have forgiven the organizers.
“Radja has forgiven the organizers. But we have never received a direct apology from their side,” Mouldy explained.
However, as proof that Radja really appreciates fans in Indonesia, the group famous for the song Jujur will hold Live in Concert Radja on November 12 2013 at Mega Star Arena, Kuala Lumpur.
Meanwhile, as the organiser, Orange International Entertainment also assured security controls for Radja will be tightened as long as the group is under their care.
CEO & Founder of Orange Entertainment International, Datuk Fadzli Idrus even described the initiative of bringing Radja back to Malaysia as a way to clear things up.
“We have indeed discussed with the Radja and followed the guidelines set by the Puspal.
“We believe that the Royal Malaysian Police (PDRM) is also always there.
“We can be sure that the security control against them will be increased and the effort to bring Radja back to Malaysia is to clarify the situation.
“We don’t want there to be any misunderstandings about the organizers or Malaysian fans who always support Radja,” he said when met at Radja’s Live In Concert press conference at Restoran Rebung, this afternoon.
Radja’s Live In Concert concert will feature Ella as an invited singer.
