Make history! GV7 was named Asia’s best music, dance program!
The seventh season of the reality PROGRAM Gegar Vaganza (GV7) made history when it took home the prestigious award at the Asian Academy Creative Awards 2021, last Friday.
Through the event which took place virtually in Singapore, GV7 was named the Best Asian Music/Dance Program.
It is understood that the event lasted for two days and a total of 38 prizes were presented involving television creators and streaming content in Asia.
Just for info, GV7 lined up 14 participants compared to 12 participants in the previous season.
They are Mus MAY, Yantzen, Cliff Umar, Aju, Oja, Nomad, Noraniza Idris, Rozita Izlyn, Ayu Damit, Linda Nanuwil, Ashira, Haslinda as well as two groups namely Eva and Indigo.
GV7 still maintains a scoring format judged by a 100 per cent professional jury comprising Datuk Ramli MS and Datuk Khatijah Ibrahim.
It also still retains Nabil Ahmad and Jihan Muse as hosts.
GV7 airs for eight weeks starting October 11, 2020 at the Putrajaya International Convention Center (PICC) every Sunday at 9pm.
