Famous actress, Liyana Jasmay lost her beloved mother, Datin Habsah Simpon at around 8.30 this morning due to lymphoma cancer.
KUALA LUMPUR: Famous actress, Liyana Jasmay lost her beloved mother, Datin Habsah Simpon at around 8.30 this morning.
According to Liyana’s manager, Norhazwani Jamil, the late 66-year-old Habsah died of lymphoma cancer at Hospital Kuala Lumpur (HKL).
She said that since he was diagnosed with cancer about two months ago, the deceased often went in and out of the hospital to receive treatment.
“Liyana and all the family members were by the deceased’s side when he breathed his last. Liyana and her siblings are also often with their mother in recent times,” Norhazwani said.
It is expected that the body of the deceased will be buried after Friday prayers, today.
The body will also be taken to Al-Iman Mosque, Kemensah Heights, Hulu Kelang to be bathed and shrouded.
