Link the drug issue, Blackpink’s management agency will take strict action

SEOUL: Blackpink’s management agency, YG Entertainment plans to take legal action against individuals who associate the group’s member, Rose, with drug abuse.

Citing the Soompi portal , they will take legal action against those who violate the rights and privacy of artists under their management.

“We are pursuing legal action against those who violate the rights and privacy of our artists,” YG Entertainment told Naver on Thursday.

At the same time, YG Entertainment is monitoring and supervising those who make and spread the speculation.

“We will not sit idly by and will act decisively,” said the management representative.

The rumors started after Burberry’s former chief creative officer, Riccardo Tisci, shared a photo during a visit to the home of entrepreneur and fashion designer Eva Chow on April 11.

In the photo, netizens noticed Rose and actor Kang Dong-won and claimed to see the sight of a white powder that looked like drugs.

Meanwhile, BLACKPINK will launch their first mobile game this year.

YG Entertainment as an agency confirmed the plan by saying BLACKPINK The Game will be launched in the second half of 2023.
