KUALA LUMPUR: A total of five aerobatic teams from various countries will rock the Langkawi International Maritime and Aerospace Exhibition (LlMA) which will take place this May.

The Commander of the Armed Forces, General Tan Sri Affendi Buang said, so far five countries have agreed to participate in the show.

He said, among them are teams from Indonesia, China, the United Arab Emirates (UAE), South Korea and Russia.

“We expect FIVE this year for the air show segment to be very lively because usually when there are five countries at once, we can see the spirit of competing between them.

“Within two hours, we will have an awesome show and hopefully the weather will not rain is a bonus,” he said when met at the Malaysian Armed Forces (ATM) Hari Raya Adilfitri celebration ceremony, here, today.

Although the weather is hot, it will not interfere with the journey of LIMA’23, but Affendi advises those who attend the exhibition to be prepared by bringing an umbrella and enough water.

After being postponed for four years, LIMA’23 will now be held again from 23 to 27 May.
