Legendary performer Francissca Peter, Siti Fairuz is now titled Datuk

KUANTAN: Two legendary performers of the homeland, Luciana Francissca Lucian G Peter or more popularly known as Francissca Peter and Siti Fairuz Sheikh Mohamed are now Datuk, after receiving the Indera Mahkota Pahang (DIMP) Award presented by the Regent of Pahang, Tengku Hassanal Ibrahim Alam Shah Al -Sultan Abdullah.

The awarding of the Pahang honors and medals was held at the Seri Hall of Istana Abu Bakar on Monday, in conjunction with the 63rd Birthday of the Sultan of Pahang Al-Sultan Abdullah Ri’ayatuddin Al-Mustafa Billah Shah.

Earlier, Bernama reported that the two Chief Secretaries (KSU) of the ministry topped the list of 99 recipients of Pahang’s honorary degrees and medals in conjunction with the Birthday.

The Yang di-Pertuan Agong Al-Sultan Abdullah and the Raja Permaisuri Agong Tunku Hajah Azizah Aminah Maimunah Iskandariah agreed to go to the dining ceremony which took place after the endowment ceremony.

Also present was the Prime Minister, Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob and the state administration led by the Chief Minister, Datuk Seri Wan Rosdy Wan Ismail.

KSU of the Ministry of International Trade and Industry Datuk Lokman Hakim Ali and KSU of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Datuk Amran Mohamed Zin are among the nine recipients of the Sri Sultan Ahmad Shah Pahang (SSAP) degree who carry the title of Datuk Seri together with Deputy Inspector General of Police Tan Sri Razarudin Husain and Chief of Police Pahang Datuk Ramli Mohamed Yoosuf.

Also receiving the SSAP were the Chairman of Touch Group Holdings Sdn Bhd, Raja Datuk Mufik Affandi Raja Khalid; Co-Founder and Managing Partner of Navis Capital Partners Limited, Nicholas Rupert Heylett Bloy; Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Perusahaan Otomobil Kedua Sdn Bhd, Datuk Zainal Abidin Ahmad; Managing Director of Oil Hub Explorer Sdn Bhd, Chia Siea Chok and Young Managing Director of Awam Sdn Bhd, Yew Ah Chai.

At the ceremony, four individuals received the Sri Indera Mahkota Pahang (SIMP) degree which carries the title of Datuk, namely the Chairman of the Supreme Council of the Armed Forces Family Welfare Agency (BAKAT), Puan Sri Maslina Ismail; Deputy Chief Commissioner (Management and Professionalism) of the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC); Datuk Junipah Wandi; Head of UMNO Paya Besar Division, Datuk Ahmad Tajuddin Sulaiman and President who is also CEO of Tenaga Nasional Berhad, Datuk Ir Baharin Din.

The Sultan of Pahang was also pleased to bestow the title of Sultan Ahmad Shah Pahang (DSAP) which carries the title of Datuk to 13 recipients including the Director of Hartapac Sdn Bhd, Datin Seri Sian Rahimah Abdullah; Director of WQ Medic Sdn Bhd, Datin Seri Dr Noraini Abd Jalil; The High Commissioner of Malaysia to the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, Datuk Zakri Jaafar and the Deputy KSU (Energy) of the Ministry of Energy and Natural Resources, Mohamad Razif Abd Mubin and the Director General (KP) of the Defense Science and Technology Research Institute, Aminudin Yahaya.

Also receiving DSAP are CEO of Affin Hwang Investment Bank, Mona Suraya Kamaruddin; Secretary of the Public Asset Management Division of the Ministry of Finance, Ahmad Suhaimi Endut; Senior Private Secretary to the Minister of Finance, Wan Murtadza Wan Mahmud; Director of Platinum Victory Development Sdn Bhd, Shaik Ahmad Sufian Shaik Kamal Farid and Executive Director and Executive Director of HSBC Malaysia Berhad, Omar Siddiq Amin Noer Rashid.

A total of 24 individuals received the Darjah Indera Mahkota Pahang (DIMP) which also carries the title of Datuk, led by the Palace’s Head of Corporate Communications, Negara Muzli Mohamad Zin; Deputy Chairman of the Kuantan Port Authority, Quek Tai Seong; Executive Chairman of the Malaysian Cooperative Commission, Zazali Haron; Group CEO of FGV Holdings Bhd, Mohd Nazrul Izam Mansor; KP Health of the Army’s West Field Command Headquarters, Brig Gen Dr Amran Amir Hamzah and sports analyst, Dr Pekan Ramli.

Also receiving a DIMP are the Bukit Aman Integrity and Standards Compliance Department (JIPS) Chief Assistant Director, SAC Ghazali Daud; Chief Assistant Director D7 Bukit Aman Criminal Investigation Department, SAC Mohamad Noor Yusof Ali; Pahang Customs Director, Abdul Ghafar Mohamad; Director of the Department of Social Welfare (JKM) Pahang, Zulkhairi Zainol Abidin and Member of the National Assembly, Senator Juhanis Abdul Aziz.

Other DIMP recipients are the Director of the Islamic Hadhari Institute of the National University of Malaysia, Prof Dr Fariza Md Sham and the Head of the Rompin MIC, L. Parianan.

Four former football players and coaches also received DIMP namely Dollah Salleh who is now Pahang Interim Head Coach, Zainal Abidin Hassan (Penang FC Head Coach), Ahmad Yusoff (Sri Pahang Football Club Coach) and Ahmad Yunus Mohd Alif.

At the ceremony, the Sultan of Pahang was also pleased to award the Setia Ahmad Shah Pahang (SAP) degree to two recipients, the Setia Mahkota Pahang (SMP) degree to six recipients, the Ahli Ahmad Shah Pahang (AAP) degree to four recipients, the Ahli Mahkota Pahang (AMP) degree ) to 10 recipients, Outstanding Service Medal (eight recipients), Commendable Conduct Medal (10 recipients) and Devotional Service Medal (nine recipients).
