Lee Seung-gi and Lee Da will be getting married
South Korean actor and singer, Lee Seung-gi announced that he will end his single life with his girlfriend who is also a movie star, Lee Da-in.
In a post on his social media site for his fans, Lee Seung-gi said that he has proposed to Lee Da-in and will have their wedding on April 7.
“I would like to announce that I have decided to marry Lee Da-in.
“I have proposed to her and she has agreed to marry on April 7,” he wrote.
The average fan was excited about the good news with congratulations but there were a few who felt that Lee Da-in was not the right candidate.
The actor’s family was previously embroiled in controversy when his stepfather was jailed on charges of manipulating stock prices to make a profit.
Previously, Lee Seung-gi, who became famous through the movies A Korean Odyssey and Mouse, was also a victim of fraud.
Last November, Lee Seung-gi’s former agency Hook Entertainment allegedly never paid the singer even though he had produced several albums since his debut in 2004.
To settle the case, the agency paid 5.4 billion won (US$4.3 million) to Lee Seung-gi in December.
Lee Seung-gi said, he will use the money to help families who are facing financial difficulties.
“Some of them are unable to live a normal life due to illness.
“Some have to forget their dreams because of lack of money. This money cannot help everyone but it is a step in that direction,” he said.
