Kanye West plans to visit Russia, meet Putin, have a show
WASHINGTON: American artist and entrepreneur Kanye West plans to visit Russia this year to meet Russian President Vladimir Putin, hold his first show there in addition to expanding his business in the country, Sputnik reported, citing a Billboard report on Tuesday citing West spokesman Ameer Sudan.
According to the report, Sudan said Russia would be a “second country” for the West because “he will spend a lot of time there”.
The tour is planned for spring or summer.
West is likely to hold a Sunday Service performance in the multi -storey concert hall of Crocus City Hall or at the Luzhniki Olympic Complex in Moscow.
West also plans to invite Putin to his show as a special guest.
West is working on a new business deal with Russian billionaire Aras Agalarov, which is expected to increase West’s wealth to more than US $ 10 billion, it was reported.
In October 2021, the media reported West changed his name to Ye without a middle or final name.
