K-pop star Se7en and actress Lee Da-hae announced that they are getting married
South Korean celebrity couple Se7en and Lee Da-hae will get married in May.
The K-Pop singer and his actress fiancee shared their wedding news in separate posts on social media site, Instagram.
Se7en or real name Choi Dong-wook said, the wedding ceremony will take place on May 6.
“I have vowed to marry my girlfriend Lee Da-hae who has always hugged me with love and shared joys and sorrows together for the past eight years,” he said.
Pledging his commitment to his bride-to-be, the 38-year-old singer wrote: “From now on, I will be more responsible as the head of the family and husband.”
Lee’s post on his Instagram page was accompanied by several photos of the wedding.
In South Korea, couples usually take their wedding photos before the ceremony and then use them as images for digital invitations and social media.
The post featured four pictures of the happy couple in different settings wearing different outfits.
Meanwhile, Lee shared that she was still shy and embarrassed to share the good news despite being a couple for eight years.
“We have vowed to be husband and wife this May. Although I’m still used to calling him ‘boyfriend,’ I will be more considerate and a bigger supporter for ‘him,’ who gave me great happiness by staying by my side and will now be a friend forever
“It will be a great happiness for us if we can get married in your love and blessing,” said Lee.
Se7en released his debut album “Just Listen” in 2003.
His career has also expanded into acting and in 2007, he played the lead role in the television drama “Goong S” (Palace S).
He has also starred in four musicals and many commercials including for Coca-Cola.
Lee has appeared in many popular television dramas including 2018’s “Good Witch,” 2010’s “Chuno” (“Slave Hunters”) and the 2013 spy film “IRIS 2.”
