K-KOMM will introduce a special anti-hacker application
KOTA BHARU: The Ministry of Communications and Multimedia (K-KOMM) will introduce a special application to curb hacking activities that are becoming more prevalent.
Communications and Multimedia Minister Tan Sri Annuar Musa said a meeting with the owner of the application will be held abroad in the near future.
“I am also requesting that Cyber Security Malaysia (CSM) conduct a specific study regarding this application because there are still some things that need to be examined before it is launched to the people in this country,” he said.
He said this to reporters after holding a walkabout at business premises around Kok Lanas today.
Commenting further, Annuar said the anti-hacker application can be used on all devices registered in the country.
“If it is paid, we will make sure the price charged is reasonable and suitable for all parties,” he said.
