Jungkook BTS recovered from COVID-19, will perform on the Grammy stage
A MEMBER of the BTS group, Jungkook who was previously tested positive for COVID-19 upon arriving in the United States (US) to attend the Grammy Awards ceremony, has now been confirmed to be fully recovered and will join the group to perform, on Sunday.
The matter was announced by Big Hit Music which told Jungkook had undergone a test on Saturday and was confirmed negative for COVID-19, Soompi reported.
“We would like to inform that BTS member Jungkook has fully recovered from COVID-19 and his quarantine period has expired on Saturday, April 2nd.
“Jungkook has been undergoing quarantine and self -treatment since March 27, and following the guidelines of health authorities in the U.S..
“Jungkook can resume his daily activities starting today. He suffered a slight sore throat during quarantine but has recovered,” Big Hit Music said in a statement on Sunday.
In addition to being part of the lineup of performers for the Grammy Awards, BTS was also nominated for Best Pop Duo/Group Performance, which was their second nomination in the category.
