Jin BTS shared the latest photos
Jin wrote a note to fans and shared several photos of him in military uniform.
FIVE weeks ago, BTS member Jin officially joined South Korea’s mandatory 18-month military service.
The singer reportedly successfully completed his basic training on Wednesday and shared the progress with his fans on Weverse, a K-pop community platform.
Jin wrote them a note and also shared some pictures of him in military uniform.
“I enjoy spending my time here. I am posting these photos after getting permission from the military. ARMY, I hope you are always in a happy state,” he wrote.
Jin or his full name is Kim Seok-jin, 30, is the first member of the group to begin compulsory military service.
He registered last December 13 at the 5th Infantry Division recruit training center in Yeoncheon County Gyeonggi.
Jin is expected to continue serving as an assistant instructor in the same battalion.
Last October, BTS announced that all seven members plan to enlist in the military.
They are currently focusing on solo projects and will reunite as a group in 2025 once all members have completed their military service.
