Jin BTS is participating in military training starting today
SEOUL: BTS member Jin started military training today where he was stationed at a training camp in Yeoncheon, Gyeonggi-do, South Korea for eight weeks.
Jin or his real name is Kim Seok Jin, shared a photo of his latest haircut in the fan community section.
“Looks cuter than I expected,” he wrote in the caption.
Jin chose a very short neat cut wearing a black t-shirt.
It is understood that Jin is expected to be placed in the front line unit of the army and overall Jin will undergo military training for 18 months.
Last October, the famous K-pop group announced that they will join the military service starting with Jin.
The management of HYBE previously informed that all the members of the group plan to continue their individual projects and rejoin in 2025 after they finish participating in the training.
For the record, the issue of BTS’ involvement in military training has often been a hot topic of conversation among fans.
The South Korean government was previously said to be ready to grant an exemption to members of this group from participating in the program on the basis of success in the field of art that has been achieved.
