Haqiem dismissed claims that his marriage was troubled but admitted that the speculation may have stemmed from the fact that he rarely shares about his wife on social media.
The DECISION of the wife of singer Haqiem Rusli who now chooses not to wear the hijab since the recent Aidilfitri celebration has invited various reactions from netizens on social media.
As a husband, Haqiem said he accepts all tests in the marriage and expects everyone to pray for the best.
“I actually don’t want to comment more (the issue of the wife removing the hijab) because this is related to personal life.
“Just what can be said, I have tried my best to be a good husband to Anis. I accept this test and at the same time hope for good prayers from everyone.
“We give her (Anis) time and I don’t want to force it either,” said Haqiem.
Haqiem also brushed off claims that his family was troubled but admitted that the speculation may have been caused by the fact that he rarely shares about his wife on social media.
“It doesn’t matter what the ‘assumption’ is or who wants to make up the story because my relationship with my wife is fine.
“This may arise when I rarely upload on social media, but that does not mean that my family relationship is problematic.
“We celebrate Raya at the homes of both parties’ families and come to Penang together,” he said.
“That’s okay. It’s just a matter of the wife’s personal life. Instead of getting divorced. Give it some space and chance. God willing, be happy until Jannah.
