Fashion designer Shanel Harun informed that he was involved in a road accident on the East Coast Highway (LPT) last Saturday.
The accident that almost took his life happened quickly when it was raining heavily in the area, it was understood after Shanel attended his client’s wedding.
“First of all, I want to apologize because last February 11, I was involved in an accident that almost took my life on the LPT highway.
“Honestly, I want to explain what happened, but I can’t. At that time, it was raining very close to LPT, for a second. In a second, the car had crashed.
“The first person I called was my PA to apologize to the client I was supposed to see.
“My second person is @sugardollbynn. I guess my heart was never wrong to love her and count her as my friend . With a heavy pregnancy, she left everything.
“From AZ, from dawn to night. Until dawn. God brought friends who sacrificed their time and energy to make sure I got from Maran to Temerloh and moved to a specialist hospital in Kuala Lumpur.
“I’m sorry, I didn’t respond. My injury limited my movement, but I’ll try my best to get back to everyone ,” he shared through a post on Instagram.
Despite facing the accident, Shanel said he was still plagued with guilt thinking about the responsibility he had towards his family and customers.
“By Allah, in the name of the Almighty. The first thing that comes to mind is not the car. But the work and the trust that is on my shoulders. The bride, the client, the staff, my mother and father and my child. This is the reason for my life.
“In my 10 years as a designer, I have never failed to meet and prepare the bride myself. Expensive, cheap, promo or package, I will meet myself. That is my soul. Shanell Harun, my life. My passion,” he added .
Shanel, who is currently undergoing treatment at a medical center in the capital, is still waiting for a medical report and diagnosis from a specialist doctor.
“Allow another day or two for me to get a full diagnosis from a specialist doctor.
“Then I will organize and plan the best for your wedding day. Believe me, the trust you gave me is carefully guarded with my life.
“As long as I breathe, I will try to carry out my responsibilities to the best of my ability. Pray for the results of my MRI tomorrow. Thank you client for understanding and accepting my situation.
“Maaf pada yang rasa saya malang dan menyusahkan. Kun Fayakun, I never ask for this. But indeed this is His best plan and wishes for something that i have yet to know. But I will always have faith in Him,” said Shanel.
