Incident of being slapped 6 years ago, David Teo forgives Mat Over
FOR the first time after the slapping incident about six years ago, actor Mat Over apologized to the producer, David Teo.
The moment was shared by Mat Over or his real name Sulaiman Yassin through the latest post on his Instagram account.
According to Mat Over, as a human being he also cannot escape from making mistakes.
“I am also an ordinary human being who often makes mistakes. Do not be ashamed to admit the mistakes we have made.
“That is the duty of every human being. It’s a good day of this good month, let’s apologize,” he wrote.
In the meantime, David through his Instagram account also informed that he has forgiven the comedian.
“The incident happened a long time ago and is also forgiven. The struggle must continue. You are still my friend ma,” he wrote.
Earlier, the incident started when David disputed the style of the moderator, Datuk Rosyam Noor handling the chat segment.
David also claimed that Rosyam was unfair to the participants who were present because they often gave the opportunity to ask questions only in certain parts.
Mat Over then suddenly rushed to the front of the stage to warn David not to be rude, slapping the producer in the face.
The incident of Mat Over slapping David took place during the TN50 National Transformation Dialogue session in front of the Prime Minister at the time, Datuk Seri Najib Razak together with Art Enthusiasts at Seri Perdana, in Putrajaya in May 2017.
