‘In life we don’t think what God has in store’ – Shuib is thankful that the engagement ceremony was made easier
COMEDIAN and radio presenter Shuib expressed gratitude for his engagement ceremony with entrepreneur Watie Hanafiah which took place on Saturday.
Shuib, whose real name is Shahmira Muhammad, 38, said he was also touched to see that both sides of the family would soon be reunited.
“The feeling that was quite pounding from yesterday, from home again. So it’s different, but there is a feeling of fun and being moved. Because seeing the ex-mother-in-law, mother and the other side of the family together, I feel moved and grateful.
“In our lives, we don’t expect what God has planned. What we can expect is prayers from everyone. Because we live what God has written.
“I hope everyone’s prayers can strengthen us to go in a better direction. No one wants a bad life. Everyone hopes for happiness. Please pray for me and my family,” said Shuib.
Earlier, Shuib ended the puzzle of his relationship with Watie when he announced that he would start a family next June.
For the record, through the marriage of Shuib and the late Siti Sarah Raisuddin, the couple was blessed with four children namely Uwais Alqarni, 12, Dzahira Talita Zahra, 10, Ariq Matin, 8, and Ayash Affan aged one year and five months.
The engagement ceremony of the two lovebirds will be broadcast exclusively through the Walimatul Urus show on Astro Ria channel (104).
The couple is expected to be married on 23 June 2023.
