“I’m thankful for what is just happen now …” – Shila Amzah is relieved to be a single mother
SINGER Shila Amzah admits that she feels relieved and loves living life as a single mother to a son, Seth Uwais who is now one year old.
According to Shila or real name Nur Shahila Amir Amzah, 32, she chose to celebrate Eid with her children and family at her own home in Cyberjaya.
“I’m really relieved that everything is finished at the same time I can celebrate at home, the best thing is the arrangement, I don’t have to go back to the village. This year too, I celebrated with my family at my house.
“For me, I am responsible to provide a positive and happy environment for my only child. Although he still doesn’t understand, I want him to think everything is normal. If there is anything negative, I will hide it from him.
“Some women are afraid to experience a situation (divorce) like me, how can they face this alone, but for me, I become stronger when I see a child’s face.
“If I stay , I will be sad again and not be myself. But when we are alone, we have no responsibility for other things, take care of our children. That’s what gives me strength. ”
At the same time, he is also thankful that this separation happened when his son was still young and did not understand what happened to his parents.
“I am thankful for this thing so now. If he is 4 to 5 years old, he has begun to understand and will probably question why other people have parents. But one day he will definitely ask and we already have the answer, ”explained Shila.
Shila was found at the breaking of fast and Astro Raya screening held at Connexion, Kuala Lumpur last Friday.
It is clear that the singer of the song Patah Seribu again, he does not feel jealous to make love again even though he just faced a divorce at a young age.
Adds Shila, a man who will be present in his life will need to understand and accept him along with his son.
“I’m not jealous to make love, I have so much love to give. But on the love that is due and deserved. In the future, I don’t even know what my mate will be like.
“To be sure, I will be more careful in accepting who is able to break the ‘fortress’ since I now have a child, this is not just about myself. There are a lot of things to focus on. ”
Just for info, Shila and Haris Idraki Elias got married in April 2018 and were blessed with a bright man, Seth Uwais.
Last February, Shila legally divorced Haris in a syariah court in Selangor.
