“I’m sorry for having to go first” – Korean actress, Yoo Joo-eun died
SEOUL: South Korean actress Yoo Joo-eun has died at the age of 27.
The matter was confirmed by his brother through a post on his Instagram account on Monday.
“On August 29, 2022, Joo-eun left this world for a better place. If you have time, pray for her on her journey,” her brother wrote.
Also shared was Joo-eun’s last note, which was posted at Joo-eun’s last request.
Shortly thereafter, the account was deactivated.
Korean media shared the contents of the note, which read: “I apologize for having to leave early, especially to my mother, father, grandmother and brother.”
She added, her interest in acting is a blessing and acting is everything to her.
“I really want to act. Maybe it’s everything and part of me. But it’s not easy to live that life.
“I don’t want to do anything else. I’ve given up. It’s a blessing to want to do it but I also realize that deep interest is also a curse,” Joo-eun wrote in the note.
She also thanked his family and friends for their love and support, adding that they were her strength to endure all this time.
Joo-eun started her acting career in the drama Big Forest in 2018 and is known for her role in Joseon Survival Period alongside Kang Ji-hwan, Kyung Soo-jin and Song Won-seok.
