“I’m paranoid, so don’t take the kids anywhere …”-Jamal Abdillah
RAJA Pop, Datuk Jamal Abdillah admits that he enjoys entertaining his two young children Nur Azura Yamani, 3, and El Isaac Yamani who are now one year old at home.
Yet, given that the COVID-19 pandemic is still at an alarming level, Jamal has always taken precautionary measures and not taken them for granted.
“My life is as usual, the invitations for performances are still many, just sometimes the feeling of tiredness of entertaining the little ones at home, but it doesn’t matter, I’m having fun.
“As a father, I must have been paranoid about the spread of the COVID-19 epidemic.
“We are other adults, I am worried about small children, until now I have not taken them anywhere,” he said.
Jamal said this after receiving the award and performing at the Miss Superhero Award Recognition Night which took place at One World Hotel, Petaling Jaya on Wednesday.
As a continuation of the Miss Superwoman Award, the event recognizes the excellence and performance of iconic men through 23 award categories from different career branches.
Speaking about feeling honored in the award, the singer of the song Aku Penghibur was grateful and happy.
“My involvement in the entertainment industry for almost 45 years was recognized by Nona. Alhamdulillah , I am very grateful,” he said briefly.
