‘I’m okay … Baba loves you so much’ – Sharnaaz Ahmad
KUALA LUMPUR: The name of popular actor, Sharnaaz Ahmad has become a buzzword after he was embroiled in a beating case controversy at a condominium in Segambut, recently.
However, Sharnaaz or real name Sharnaaz Ahmad Basir Ahmad was released on police bail yesterday after being remanded for three days to assist in the investigation into the case of punching and kicking a man.
Recently, the actor of the drama I Promise Janji Anaqi through a post on his Instagram page stated that he is in an ‘okay’ state.
Through the video, Sharnaaz is seen supporting his son, Jebat Jayden, as if giving the impression to his son that everything is in good condition.
Meanwhile, Jebat was also seen hugging his father tightly.
“I’m okay … God willing. Baba loves you so much (Baba loves you very much),” he wrote in the entry, yesterday.
In the meantime, some fellow artists gave words of encouragement and positive to Sharnaaz in the comments section.
Yesterday, Sharnaaz, 37, asserted the allegations leveled against him as baseless.
He said he would never do a stupid act that could bring down his own name and family.
Sentul District Police Chief, Assistant Commissioner Beh Eng Lai said the investigation on the actor was carried out in accordance with Section 323 of the Penal Code for causing injury and Section 506 of the same code for making threats.
Section 323 of the Penal Code provides for imprisonment for one year or a maximum fine of RM2,000 or both.
