If there is no problem, Jackie Chan will go to Malaysia next year to shoot a movie

Hong Kong’s famous movie star Jackie Chan expressed his interest in filming a movie in Malaysia in 2024.

He who also forged fame in Hollywood personally misses Malaysia very much and is very excited to come back here.

“I am sure the audience in Malaysia will welcome me to film there (Malaysia). Actually, there is already a storyline (film) that will be filmed there.

“The publisher has also identified several locations in Malaysia. If everything goes well according to plan, we will shoot the film there,” said Jackie as reported by The Star news portal .

The 68-year-old actor said this in an exclusive interview in Beijing, China in conjunction with his new movie, Ride On , which will be released soon.

In the interview, he also joked that he would not ‘blow up’ the place or do the ‘flying’ action of the building this time in his latest play.

Despite not sharing at length about the untitled film, Jackie, however, informed that it is not an action film.

The last time Jackie filmed in Malaysia was in the 1991 action film Supercop which also featured Malaysian-born actress who is also an Oscar winner, Tan Sri Michelle Yeoh.

While the film was being filmed, several roads around Dataran Merdeka were closed.
