“If I’m at home crying with the children, netizens don’t come knocking on the door to help” – Shuib
Comedian and popular entrepreneur, Shuib Sepahtu admits that it is difficult to ‘move on’ even though his beloved wife, Siti Sarah Raissuddin has gone to face Ilahi nine months ago.
According to Shuib, although the feeling of remembering his wife’s death has its ups and downs, however, the feeling of loss is still scarred in his heart, as if Sarah has just left him.
“The ups and downs are there… There are times when we are strong, waking up in the morning feels best . Like when I returned to the village that day. Chest feeling airy and happy to see the children fasting there. At the same time, I also invite my friends in Kuala Lumpur to break their fast there.
“Everything is ok, everything is happy. But, when I came back here, step to the door of the house, he automatically remembered the deceased. Everything comes like the first day (lost) first. Maybe so… There are times ok, there are times not ok. When we remember him, we read and give alms Al-Fatihah and we recite for him.
“I don’t want to talk about how to move on . Even though it’s been nine months. So, then, God willing, it must be ok later, ”he told Gempak.
Shuib was found at the Indigital iftar ceremony which took place at the Royal Hotel, Kuala Lumpur last night.
In the meantime, he also tried to accept the letter that had been determined because he did not want to continue to be carried away by feelings.
“Ikhtiar itself is also to go through all this. Indeed, I admit to being carried away, afraid of being dissolved in longing… while the children’s journey is still far away. My responsibility to them is great. So, for me, it’s good that I don’t continue to treat my feelings and give full attention to the children, “he added.
In the meantime, Shuib said that he did not want to think about the criticism or accusations from netizens about him and his children.
“I don’t care if people want to say anything. What we hold, what we know and feel, we just walk… want to think no one can. If I’m at home crying with the children, netizens don’t come knocking on my door, “Shuib closed.
For the record, the late Sarah passed away on August 9 last year after giving birth to her fourth child Ayash Affan in a condition infected with the COVID-19 virus.
