JAKARTA: The misfortune that befell Indonesian singer, Lesti Kejora, got the attention of fellow artists in the country.
The most outspoken is Inul Daratista, who has known Lesti since he was a teenager.
“If I knew that you [Lesti Kejora] were beaten, not only your parents, I would also help attack her (Lesti’s husband),” said Inul in a post on Instagram.
“I love you, you are a strong child,” said Inul in the message, while stating that she has lost respect for Lesti’s husband who is also a singer, Rizky Billar.
Lesti, who was reportedly beaten by her husband, is said to have not decided to divorce.
“So far, Lesti has not discussed anything with me about the divorce claim. After all, she is still being treated in the hospital,” said Lesti’s lawyer, Sandy Ariffin.
At the same time, Sandy informed that the popular singer through the song Takdir Cinta will also undergo psychological treatment in addition to physical to restore his condition.
Lesti received treatment at a hospital in Jakarta last Thursday after being interrogated regarding the report against her husband.
A representative of the South Jakarta Police informed that domestic violence (KDRT) occurred twice, on September 28 and 30 in Cilandak, South Jakarta.
Lesti, 23, and Rizal, 27, got married in August last year and were blessed with a son, Leslar Al Fatih.
