“I have proof…” – Lufya was disappointed to be accused of not cooperating with the police
ACTRESS Lufya Omar denied allegations that she did not cooperate with the authorities following the incident of fighting and attempted kidnapping of her daughter, Laana Haura last June.
Lufya explained that she was disappointed with the spread of the news and insisted that she had given full cooperation to the authorities throughout the investigation of this case.
“I have proof that I have been to the police station twice to give statements and cooperation. To be honest, I am disappointed to be treated like this and indifferently by the police.
“The first time I came to make a police report at Mutiara Damansara. I even had my wound taken and was interrogated with them for about three hours.
“The second time when they were about to arrive at the police station in Petaling Jaya, they had to cancel the appointment because there was an event the night before that ended late.
“In fact, the excuse of a photocopier was given until all matters were postponed. But I don’t want to find a clause with the police. They can deal with me without involving the media.
“The statement issued by the media is as if I never came to the police station to cooperate. I want this to be resolved immediately with the authorities without having to reveal any weaknesses,” she said.
For the record, Lufya made a police report regarding the incident at Kota Damansara Police Station at approximately 6 am on June 29.
At the same time, Lufya also shared a screenshot of her conversation with the authorities.
Earlier, Lufya faced an anxious moment when her daughter tried to be kidnapped in a playground in Damansara and she herself was also beaten in the struggle involved.
