‘Hot’ scene: Zul Ariffin to be investigated – Annuar Musa
MINISTER OF COMMUNICATIONS AND MULTIMEDIA, Tan Sri Annuar Musa informed that Zul Ariffin will be investigated under Section 233 of the Communications and Multimedia Act 1998.
It follows the actor’s sharing on his social media account featuring a clip of a ‘hot’ scene in a recent drama.
Annuar explained that the partnership was illegal and a legal process was underway.
In fact, he said, the scene as shown will not be allowed to be shown to the general public regardless of whether it is in the month of Ramadan or in other months.
“The legal process is underway.
“Actor Zul Ariffin will be investigated under Section 233 of the Communications and Multimedia Act 1998 for illegal YouTube posting .
“What is certain is that scenes like the one shown will not be allowed to air, either in the month of Ramadan or any other month.
“Keep the values and culture,” he said via a share on his official Twitter on Tuesday.
Earlier, Zul Ariffin appeared to apologize following the video of the ‘hot’ scene that was contagious.
He said he would be more careful to upload content on social media to avoid recurring controversy.
For the record, the video was deleted from Zul Ariffin’s social media account.
