Hooray X Fest Raya: Organizers give vendors an ultimatum
KUALA LUMPUR: The organizers of Hooray X Fest Raya are understood to have given an ultimatum to vendors involved in the shopping festival in conjunction with Syawal.
The vendor representative through a statement informed that the Chief Executive Director of Tenview (M) Sdn Bhd, Datuk Mohammad Aliff Hakim gave two options after canceling the program.
The first option is for the merchant to get the payment back or the second option, wait for the next event date to be announced later.
“The organizers will hold a meeting together with all traders for refund matters which will take place at 2pm this afternoon at the Kuala Lumpur World Trade Center (WTCKL),” according to the statement.
Mohammad Aliff said, the cancellation was made because the main sponsor had withdrawn, resulting in the payment of the location of the event being unable to be settled.
However, he did not reveal the name of the sponsor.

He was found during a meeting with affected vendors and traders at WTCKL last night.
The Hooray x Raya Fest event is supposed to be held on 19-21 April 2023, lasting 72 hours non-stop, at WTCKL.
Among the artists and celebrities involved include Lann A To Z, Wan Scoin, Jaafar Onn, Ayie Floor 88, Amer Forteen, Elyana, Aidil Aziz, Risteena, Izzue Islam, Rina Eva, Anne Abdullah, Farah Wahida, Cat Farish, Ayu Damit , Soffi Jikan and Rahmat Mega.
This event has the cooperation and support of Boy Iman who is also the President of the Malaysian Celebrity Entrepreneurs Club.
