Hollywood actress Anne Heche was badly burned when the car she was driving crashed into a house
Hollywood actress Anne Heche was reported to be badly burned after being involved in a car accident in Los Angeles, United States (US).
In the incident that happened early Thursday evening in the Mar Vista area, Heche, who was driving a blue Mini Cooper, allegedly crashed into a house and started a fire, reported entertainment portal TMZ.
Before the incident, witnesses said that the car driven by Heche initially crashed into an apartment complex garage.
Residents tried to remove her from the vehicle, but she instead reversed the car and walked away.
The report added that Heche then crashed into a nearby house causing his car to burst into flames and ransacking the residence.
Heche suffered serious burns.
She was then taken on a stretcher to a nearby ambulance and is currently in hospital.
According to TMZ, Heche is being intubated and is in stable condition.
Heche became famous in the 1990s with roles in films including “Donnie Brasco”, “Volcano” and “I Know What You Did Last Summer”.
She later appeared as a contestant on the show “Dancing With The Stars” in 2000.
Heche will appear in the HBO series “The Idol”.
