Heart attack was the cause of death, Jit Murad’s body was buried yesterday

KUALA LUMPUR: A post -mortem examination of well -known writer, theater and filmmaker, Jit Murad found that the deceased died of a heart attack.

The matter was informed by a close friend of the late, Tina Fadzil as a result of a post -mortem report conducted at the University of Malaya Medical Center (UMMC) yesterday.

Tina also informed that Jit’s body will be buried at the Bukit Kiara Islamic Cemetery in the capital today (Feb 14) and it is limited to the next of kin only.

“Family members understand that many friends as well as fans would like to attend to pay their last respects, however due to standard operating procedures (SOPs), the number of heirs allowed to attend funeral prayers and funerals is also limited.

“Therefore, family members also requested for a funeral today only for immediate family members,” he said in a brief statement to Astro AWANI.

Commenting further, Tina said the Kuala Lumpur theater community also planned to hold a ceremony to commemorate the late, but the details will be announced later.

Jit’s body was safely buried after the Zohor prayers on Monday.
