GV9: No eliminations, Pat Candy bottom, Jac continues to shine
All 11 stars of Gegar Vaganza 9 (GV9) qualify for the fifth concert of GV9 which took place on Sunday at the Shah Alam City Council (MBSA).
In the meantime, Jaclyn Victor was crowned as the winner of tonight’s concert when she got a high score with the song You Raise Me Up , originally sung by international singer Josh Groban.
With a spiritual theme, the 11 stars of GV9 performed a selection of songs ‘aman di mata, damai di heart’ judged by the permanent jury Datuk Ramli MS, Hetty Koes Endang and Datuk Syafinaz Selamat.
Great presenter Sherry Alhadad teamed up with Elly Mazlein to replace Nabil Ahmad.
The Next Level Digi Champion Award was won by Fuad Rahman for four consecutive weeks based on fan votes via Facebook Astro Gempak and took home RM1,000 in cash.
In addition, as the fourth week champion, Jaclyn Victor also won Adabi’s Amazing Star award and took home RM1,000 in cash and RM500 worth of Adabi merchandise.
While Tom won the Fastest Cuckoo Star Award based on the highest votes on Facebook Astro Gempak and took home a Warrior water filter worth RM3,680.
This new season also brings back Nabil Ahmad as host and is accompanied by actor and ‘Gegar Vaganza 3’ alumni, Elly Mazlein.
The winner will take home RM100,000 in cash, the runner-up will receive RM50,000, third place will receive RM30,000, fourth place, fifth place and sixth place will each receive RM20,000, RM15,000 and RM10 ,000.
