GV9: Haida Hasnan, the second participant was eliminated
KUALA LUMPUR: Singer Haida Hasnan became the second contestant to be eliminated from the Gegar Vaganza 9 (GV9) program after performing in the third week’s concert at the Shah Alam City Council (MBSA) on Sunday night.
Singing the song Nang popularized by Iman Troye, Haida received the lowest score of 53.4 percent.
“I only have three days and I’m trying to deliver this song, whatever happens I take it in stride.
“Netizens chose this song and I have tried as much as possible,” said Haida.
Shila Amzah who performed the song Seccangkir Madu Merah, became the first participant to receive the Literary Mesmerizing Star award when she scored the highest which was 78.8 percent.
Hosted by Elly Mazlein and Nabil Ahmad, GV9 airs live for 10 weeks every Sunday at 9pm.
GV9 also featured Datuk Ramli MS, Hetty Koes Endang and Datuk Syafinaz Selamat as permanent judges.
