GV9: Asheed Def Gab C eliminated week nine
KUALA LUMPUR: The journey of contestant Asheed Def Gab C stopped at the ninth week of the Gegar Vaganza season nine concert (GV9), last night.
Asheed’s performance through the song Lena Diulit Intan failed to captivate the hearts of the judges thus placing him in last position with 58.6%.
Permanent judge Hetty Koes Endang told that although Asheed performed the song well, but at the same time asked not to be too hasty when singing.
The quarter-final stage concert held at the Shah Alam City Council Auditorium last night saw three contestants in the top three positions namely Shila Amzah, Hazrul Nizam and Jaclyn Victor.
The other five contestants who advanced to next week’s semi-final concert are Bob Yusof, Dina Nadzir, Fuad Rahman, Tomok and the VE group.
GV9’s ninth week concert also featured a performance by Hael Husaini as a guest singer.
