Gordon Ramsey, Jamie Oliver mourn death of MasterChef Australia host Jock Zonfrillo
The world famous chef, Gordon Ramsey described the news of Zonfrillo’s death as very sad.
Famous MasterChef Australia host Jock Zonfrillo has reportedly died on the eve of the new season of the cooking reality show.
Zonfrillo died in Melbourne at the age of 46, wrote an official statement issued by television station Network 10.
However, the cause of death of the chef who became the MasterChef Australia family was not revealed.
Following his death, Network 10 decided to postpone the show of the first episode of the new season of the program which was also joined by famous British celebrity chef, Jamie Oliver who acted as a judge.
Oliver even expressed his shock and condolences through a post written on his Facebook.
“We had a wonderful time working together in the latest season of this program. He is a very generous person, his commitment and passion in MasterChef Australia makes me feel very grateful.
“You will be greatly missed. I can’t believe I’m writing this,” he recalled as reported by CNN.
Meanwhile, the world famous chef, Gordon Ramsey described the news of Zonfrillo’s death as very sad.
“I really enjoyed the time I spent with him during my time on MasterChef Australia. My condolences to all of his family,” Ramsey tweeted.
Last year Zonfrillo released a book called Last Shot and revealed how he dealt with severe drug addiction as a teenager and struggled to balance life as a chef.
