Get rid of all the board director, Elon Musk is now the sole director of Twitter
BILLIONAIRE and owner of the social media application, Twitter, Elon Musk has dissolved Twitter’s board of directors and made himself the ‘sole director’ of the company.
Citing a report by the Independent , all previous board members have been removed and only Musk remains in the organizational chart of Twitter’s board of directors.
The move was taken as part of Musk’s US$44 billion (RM207.6 billion) purchase of the company.
Earlier, Musk was reported to have said he bought Twitter to help the world community and wanted “human civilization to have a common digital space”.
At the same time, Musk plans to reduce the number of employees, causing about 7,500 Twitter employees to worry about their future.
