Fasha Sandha was injured in the head, eyes during the filming of the drama
KUALA LUMPUR: Famous actress Fasha Sandha was rushed to a specialist hospital in Johor Bahru due to an injury to her left eye while filming a drama called Anak Tuan , yesterday.
According to a statement on Fasha’s Instagram, the incident occurred after her eyes and head hit the sharp corner of the bed.
“Here I want to make a little update about my sister. Kakak was injured as a result of falling while acting on the set of Anak Tuan on March 1 (yesterday morning). Her eyes and head hit the sharp edge of the bed.
“The bone of her left eye is broken and her left eyeball is bleeding and swollen and is being treated at the Specialist Hospital in Johor Bahru,” she said.
She added that the 39-year-old actress is expected to receive further treatment at a specialist hospital in Kuala Lumpur today or tomorrow morning.
At the same time, the management representative asked the fans and family to pray for Fasha’s health.
“As many know, Fasha is a strong-willed and committed person in her career. I am sure she is strong.
“The production team has apologized to Fasha and her family. Fasha said, there is no one to blame because this accident happened beyond our expectations,” she said.
In the same post, a video excerpt of the drama directed by Along Kamaludin was also shared which saw Fasha with Azhan Rani succeed in one of the tense scenes where the actor pulled Fasha’s hair from the stairs and pushed her before falling on the corner of the bed.
