Faizal Tahir is grateful to have a special child
KUALA LUMPUR: The feeling of gratitude is unceasingly expressed by the country’s popular artist, Faizal Tahir when sharing the blessings of the seventh child who was born last December.
Unlike other babies, the presence of light in the eyes of the girl named Maryam Tahirah was born with Down syndrome .
To the singer who is very famous for the song Gemuruh , even if it is lacking, however, Maryam Tahirah is a very special gift for her and her whole family.
“A month before the wife gave birth, we found out that the unborn child was diagnosed with Down syndrome . I accept it well, Alhamdulillah. Calm down, that’s what God is for.
“I don’t feel like ‘ down ‘ and I don’t feel disappointed or question why my child was born with down syndrome ,” said Faizal in his sharing on his personal social media account.
Not only he and his wife, Siti Raihannim were thankful for the bounty, it was, in fact, his entire family and friends also gave a positive reaction upon being informed of the light of his eyes.
The feedback from all parties really touched Faizal’s emotions.
“The first thing that came out of their mouths was Masya-Allah, SubhanAllah, Allah has given you the children of heaven ‘bro’. At that time, my heart was touched.
“There are also those who say that not everyone can, I am a person chosen to be given a ‘special’ child. Alhamdulillah, this thing is very encouraging and gives strength to me and my wife,” said Faizal again.
Upon hearing the explanation from the doctor, Faizal was informed that Maryam Tahirah desperately needed his attention because she was different from other children.
The doctor said to Faizal: ” This baby really needs you .”
However, a moment after thinking about the sentence that came out of the doctor’s mouth, Faizal looked far into the future and reminded that in reality, the holy baby is the key for him to go through a better life in the future.
“It’s not my son who needs me… (on the contrary) I really need my son to be a better human being and for me to be a more grateful human being,” said Faizal.
In the partnership, Faizal said, Maryam Tahirah was diagnosed with Down syndrome since she was still in the womb.
“While Maryam Tahirah was in the womb, doctors could detect that there were some problems and complications. First it was the heart, then it was confirmed as ‘ tetralogy of fallot ‘ (TOF). The mixture of blood and oxygen is not pretty.
“That was the first problem that the doctor could detect. At that time, I found out that he really wanted to have heart surgery after birth. So we had to be ready for that, mentally, physically and financially.
“A few months ago, for another examination, the doctor checked again, he found out that there was another problem, namely ‘ double bubble ‘ ( Duodenal atresia ) in his stomach. When the doctor detected this thing, and it was said that he had heart complications, the doctor wanted to tell him. heavy, until reports confirmed that Maryam had Down syndrome , “said Faizal, who is also the father of seven children, three boys and four girls, including Maryam Tahirah.
Faizal’s partnership also received reactions from many people, including the famous artist, Datuk Seri Siti Nurhaliza who described the presence of Maryam Tahirah in Faizal’s family as a little angel sent by Allah SWT.
