‘Even had a lot of money is not safe’ – Mike Tyson
World legend BOXER, Mike Tyson recently released a statement that he believes his death is approaching and revealed how money and wealth cannot help him.
The revelation was made through his podcast, Hotboxin’ with Mike Tyson.
“We’re all going to die one day, of course,” Tyson was quoted as saying, Dailymailuk reported .
Tyson, 56, then said that when he looked at himself in the mirror, he could already see many wrinkles.
“And I say that my death will come soon. It was very close,” he said.
In the same report, Tyson also talked about the fame gained while being a boxer including having a lot of money.
But he admitted that ringgit money does not give him value and meaning.
“I always tell people, many people think they will be happy when they have a lot of money, but when you have it, don’t expect everyone to love you.
“And if you believe you are immune because you have money, believe me, that notion is wrong.
“Does money guarantee your life? It means nothing because if you get a disease or get hit by a car for example, will money save you?
“Including if you decide to jump off the bridge!” said Tyson while talking to his third wife, Lakiha Spicer.
Tyson or known as Iron Mike ventured into boxing in 1985 and defeated his opponent, Hector Mercedes at the young age of 18.
Since then his career ‘exploded’ before he was jailed for three years in 1991 for raping a teenager.
In 2003, Tyson was declared bankrupt.
