Enjoy Sunday afternoon poetry at Read Joke Poems

WHILE all eyes are focused on the south of the country for the democracy party that opens on Saturday, a poetry reading event will take place on Sunday.
The “Read Joke Poems” event organized by the Seven Men Writers Club with the support of the National Writers Association (Pena) will be held at a small cafe in Petaling Jaya tomorrow.
Seven Men Writers Club spokesperson, Mohd Azalan Hussain told Astro AWANI, the poetry reading event will be held at Biblio Cafe at Menara Mutiara Majestic in PJ Old Town.

The “Read Joke Poems” event organized by the Seven Men Writers Club with the support of the National Writers Association (Pena) will be held at a small cafe in Petaling Jaya tomorrow.
Seven Men Writers Club spokesperson, Mohd Azalan Hussain told Astro AWANI, the poetry reading event will be held at Biblio Cafe at Menara Mutiara Majestic in PJ Old Town.

“Places are very limited for this very great poetry reading event.
“So I hope no one will be disappointed if they can’t come into Biblio Cafe to enjoy poetry on Sundays.

“We are only limiting this event to three hours only starting at 2pm and will finish at 5pm on Sunday 27 February.
“Why only three hours and a small place? So that it gives the most beautiful memories for those present and lasting regret to those not present,” he said.
Among those who will recite poems at the event are Sabri Yunus, Pyanhabib, Sani Sudin, Ladin Nuawi, and Rayza Mukmin.
Attendees are also asked to conduct self -examination in addition to adhering to standard operating procedures (SOP) throughout the event.
