Emman leads the national challenge at the ‘New Breed’ wrestling tournament

On Nov 26, Emman successfully won the Intercommonwealth MCW, while last Saturday he continued his excellent streak by winning the Running Elbow KL Gold title at the PUZZLE Pro Wrestling Championship in Taiwan.

KUALA LUMPUR: Intercommonwealth Melbourne City Wrestling (MCW) champion, Emman Azman, will lead the national challenge at the ‘New Breed’ wrestling tournament which will be organized for the first time at the Kuash Theatre, Taman Tun Dr Ismail, here, on 18 February next.

Emman, who was nicknamed ‘Golden Boy’, will be joined by nine local wrestlers to compete with 12 world wrestlers from five countries namely Australia, Singapore, the Philippines, Japan and the United Arab Emirates.

Director, My Pro Wrestling (MYPW) Sdn Bhd, Datin Maria Abdullah informed that Emman will fight to defend the championship belt against the wrestler from Singapore, Greg Glorious.

“MYPW also intends to open collaboration with any corporate company to sponsor this tournament, further supporting the government’s efforts in involving youth or young people in sporting activities such as wrestling,” he said, in a statement, yesterday.
