Didi & Friends The Movie is an amazing animation, full of fun for the whole family
KUALA LUMPUR: The country’s popular animation, Didi & Friends continues to go a long way in strengthening its brand as the best local animation that presents entertaining children’s songs, through the latest film Didi & Friends The Movie , which will be seen in cinemas across the country from February 23.
With a film duration of 104 minutes, the audience is not only treated to interesting songs, but this animation features an action-packed adventure with its main characters, Didi, Nana and Jojo.
More interestingly, this film produced by Astro Shaw, Warnakala Studios and Digital Durian in collaboration with Malaysia Digital Economy Corporation (MDEC) also introduces new characters such as Torra, Nek Kura, Kapten Zee, Tok Chip. Famous stars in the country have contributed their voices to move the character, such as Dato’ Awie (Tok Chip), Amelia Henderson (Captain Zee), Ruminah Sidek (Nek Kura) and Waris (Torra).
Uniquely, all the characters in this film are designed in the form of endangered animals in Malaysia such as leopards, cheetahs, hornbills, rhinoceroses and many more.
According to the Chief Executive Officer of Warnakala Studios, Hairul Sofian, Didi & Friends The Movie is a unique film with exemplary storytelling and action-adventure challenges.
“This film is very different from the television series that has been published in terms of texturing , rigging , modeling , animation, theme colors and others.
“Apart from the technical elements, Didi & Friends The Movie also features new songs composed by famous music directors, accompanied by the musicians of the Malaysia Philharmonic Orchestra (MPO), making the songs fresh and easy to enjoy,” he said.
The popular singer, Hael Husaini also made a special appearance risking his voice for the role of Mr. Bear and singing the main theme song of the movie titled Luar Biasa . Also uploaded is the song Kembali Bersama sung by the group Modescape.
All 11 new songs that were served were also able to make the audience sing along (‘sing along’).

Meanwhile, the Chief Executive Officer of Digital Durian, Sinan Ismail said, since the start of Didi & Friends in 2012, it has been Digital Durian’s dream to produce Didi & Friends The Movie .
“From children’s songs on YouTube, to episodic stories on Astro Ceria, then the ‘sold out’ Hora Horey Live Concert , and now finally – Didi & Friends The Movie . This is a gift from us to the millions of Didi & Friends fans who have supported us for the past 11 years,” he said.
Special for fans, Didi & Friends The Movie tickets can be purchased from 15 February 2023 at 155 cinemas throughout Malaysia and Brunei for the official screening on 23 February.
In addition, meet Didi & Friends mascots and participate in exciting activities through the Didi & Friends The Movie tour series on February 24, 25, 26 at selected North and South cinemas, March 3, 4, 5 in the East Coast and Klang Valley states, as well as once again in the Klang Valley on March 10, 11, 12.
