Death of Dnars founder: Police seek help from Thai police, Interpol

KOTA BHARU: Kelantan Police will obtain detailed information from the Thai police and Interpol to assist in the investigation following a police report lodged by a family member of beauty product founder, Dnars Skincare (Dnars) the late Faziani Rohban Ahmad who died after being involved in an accident in Pattani, Thailand. in 2019.

Acting Kelantan Police Chief, Datuk Muhamad Zaki Harun said, his party’s investigation focused on reports that linked several individuals and were hypothetical.

“When a report is made, we will take evidence, we want to know what the report really is but for investigation, what is in dispute? What happened during the incident? How to get there and so on, we send to Wisma Putra and Interpol. So far we haven’t received anything yet, but internally we will see which individual is mentioned and we can also help our neighbors there.

“What we can do here, we will do a thorough investigation, those mentioned in the report. So far we have no confirmation of the alleged fire and the report was made based on the assumptions and talk of family members but the facts we will confirm later.

“The police are requesting space to conduct a detailed investigation to find justice for both parties,” he said here today.

Muhamad Zaki explained that the accident that claimed Faziani’s life happened in a neighboring country where the investigation into the accident was carried out by the neighboring country’s police.

However, the Kelantan police will seek the cooperation of Wisma Putra, Interpol and the Thai police for the investigation carried out after receiving a report made by the victim’s family members.

The entrepreneur’s family came forward to lodge a police report at the Tumpat District Police Headquarters on June 16.

The report was made by the family of the late Faziani, after his family claimed that there were suspicious things in the accident.

However, the Toyota Estima multi -purpose vehicle that the couple was riding in crashed into a lorry parked on a road, causing Faziani to die at the scene, while Ahmad Shah Rizal was injured.
