COVID-19: My breath is getting shorter – Siti Nurhaliza learns Muay Thai to improve stamina-level Muay Thai

KUALA LUMPUR: Fans’ longing to see her perform again at a concert has finally been cured.

In recent years, the world has been hit by the COVID-19 pandemic and surely various activities had to be limited, including the organization of concerts.

Before closing the curtain on 2022, the country’s number one singer, Datuk Seri Siti Nurhaliza performed a special performance through the Music of The Soul concert for her loyal fans.

Although it is not the first time to hold a concert, the singer of the song Seribu Kemanisan admits that she still feels nervous especially that she still feels the impact of being one of the victims of COVID-19.

“When I get sick, things I don’t want to get are coughs and colds, but this is COVID-19 where I get a prolonged cough and still feel the effects. Because after I got COVID-19, my breathing time was short.

“So Siti is really trying to regain stamina, so I do a lot of exercise including Muay Thai for my stamina and breathing,” she told the media after the first day of the Music of The Soul concert.

At the same time, Siti Nurhaliza or better known as Tok Ti informed that she was very moved by the response given by all the fans who attended the concert.

“I am very moved by the response, because this is an exclusive performance to collect funds for the Nurjiwa Foundation, it is my dream to continue this foundation until any time,” she added.

Siti Nurhaliza delivered 18 songs in conjunction with Music of The Soul including Warna Dunia, Diari Hatimu, Anta Permana, Aku Bidadari Syurgamu and the duet song Baldu Biru with Datuk Awie.

More attracted the attention of the audience when Awie performed the song Pantun Budi with Siti Nurhaliza.

Music of The Soul will be held at the Plenary Hall , Kuala Lumpur Convention Center (KLCC) for two days on 5 and 6 November 2022.

Proceeds from the concert ticket sales are channeled to the Nurjiwa Foundation.
