Country songwriter Kyle Jacobs has died
Country music writer and publisher Kyle Jacobs has died at the age of 49.
According to Nashville police, Jacobs is believed to be suffering from depression and was confirmed to have died by suicide at his home in Nashville, United States (US) on Friday.
Further details were not released and police said only that the investigation was ongoing.
The deceased’s wife, Kellie Pickler told the police, she looked for her husband immediately after waking up from sleep.
Pickler and his personal assistant then found the door to the room at the top of the house locked.
Jacobs has previously worked with various artists including Garth Brooks, Kelly Clarkson, Darius Rucker and Tim McGraw.
