Cosmetic agent kidnapping case: “Give us space, we’ve been through a bad experience”

KOTA BHARU: “Give us space to be together in this meaningful family reunion,” said Mohammad Mohd Naim, 25.

Her sister and her family had gone through a terrible experience.

“We are not yet ready to accept any interviews from the media or anyone.

“Our family has been under quite a lot of pressure for the past few weeks. In fact, some parties, including the media, are overreacting when we have warned them not to be disturbed until Azie has returned.

“I hope that this kind of incident does not happen again,” he said when contacted here today.

The cosmetic agent of the kidnapped victim returned home safely

Commenting further, Mohammad said, Azie wanted to rest and did not want to meet the media to be interviewed about what she went through when she was kidnapped.

Azie, who was escaped by a criminal group on September 13, was sent back to his family’s home in Kota Bharu around 2.50 pm this afternoon.

She was accompanied by the Kelantan Police Chief, Datuk Muhamad Zaki Harun.

Muhamad Zaki is reported to have said that the public and acquaintances are advised not to disturb the victim temporarily to give space to the family.

He said that the hard work of the Royal Malaysian Police (PDRM), especially the Kelantan Police and the Thai Police had succeeded in bringing the victims home safely without involving any payment of ransom.
