Conservancy for Cuyahoga Valley National Park Announces Fifth Annual Rhythm on the River Concert Series

PENINSULA, Ohio – April 12, 2025 – The Conservancy for Cuyahoga Valley National Park (CVNP) has announced the return of its popular Rhythm on the River outdoor concert series for a fifth consecutive year. This free, family-friendly music event will take place at Howe Meadow, located at 4040 Riverview Road, on June 8, July 13, and August 10.

Since its inception, the series has attracted more than 27,000 attendees, offering a vibrant mix of live music, local food trucks, and outdoor games set against the scenic backdrop of Ohio’s only national park.

“This year’s Rhythm on the River is especially meaningful as we mark the 50th anniversary of CVNP,” said Donté Gibbs, Vice President of Community Partnerships at the Conservancy. “We invite everyone to come and experience the unique joy music brings in uniting communities within this beautiful shared space.”

June 8: Theron Brown Sextet with Open Tone Music
July 13: Carlos Jones & The P.L.U.S. Band with Shaw High School Marching Band
August 10: Nikki D & The Sisters of Thunder with Blakk Jakk Dance Collective
