Concert tickets are cheap, our performances are still expensive – Syamel and Ernie Zakri
KUALA LUMPUR: Singer Syamel sees the public’s opinion regarding the price of Ernie Zakri and Syamel’s Aku Cinta concert tickets , which are said to be cheap, as something positive.
But at the same time, Syamel does not want fans to think that the ticket price will symbolize the level of their performance later.
“The quality of our performance will not be based on the price. In fact, we put one hundred percent trust in our management, Rocketfuel to manage everything. They must have made the appropriate arrangements.
“But don’t worry, our performance is not based on the ticket price,” said Syamel when met at the concert’s press conference, on Wednesday.
Meanwhile, Ernie Zakri admitted that one of his concerns to make the concert a success is if it will be well received.
But the 30-year-old singer refused to let it be an obstacle for him to appear in a concert, as his fans dreamed of.
“Considering this is the first time we are holding a concert, I wonder if people are willing to watch our concert?
“But if we think too much about that, we can’t focus. All we can say is that we will try to give the best performance, not to mention that we ourselves have been planning to hold this concert for a long time,” said Ernie.
Ernie Zakri and Syamel’s Aku Cinta concert will take place next October 23 at Zepp, Kuala Lumpur. The couple is expected to perform about 23 songs.
