KUALA LUMPUR: Astro Shaw today announced a strategic collaboration with leading producer from Indonesia, Visinema Pictures in bringing and co -producing for four great Indonesian films, namely Ben & Jody, Keluarga Cemara 2, Jagat Arwah and Mencuri Raden Saleh.
This further strengthens Astro Shaw’s role as Malaysia’s best film producer, distributor and marketer in dominating the Asian market.
Through this mega combination, Astro Shaw aims to further improve the quality of film entertainment for viewers in Malaysia.
Commenting on the collaboration, Vice President, Perniagaan Melayu Nusantara and Head of Astro Shaw, Raja Jastina Raja Arshad said Astro Shaw was pleased to be seen as a leading film producer in Malaysia who was able to convince foreign artists to forge collaborative relationships and explore greater potential. .

In 2020, Astro Shaw has partnered with Visinema Pictures in marketing the number 1 best -selling family drama genre film in Indonesia, ‘Nanti Kita Cerita Tentang Hari Ini’, for viewing in Malaysia through the Astro First platform.
