KUALA LUMPUR: Due to the incident of a contestant giving a ‘rude’ answer in the program All Together Now Malaysia 2 (ATNM2), actress Catriona Ross admitted to being surprised by the situation.
The 42-year-old actor said that she was upset with the answer from the contestant known as Ika, who was deemed less sweet than many people watched on television.
“My question is simple. I asked him ‘are you not comfortable or don’t like the song that was performed earlier?’ If she answered with appropriate intonation, of course there would be no problem.
“If you want to enter the entertainment industry, if you compose sentences wisely and communicate well, I’m sure anyone can go further.
“There needs to be common sense to respect others, regardless of whether they are adults or peers. When we are raised by our parents, we are automatically taught about manners and respect,” she said.
In the meantime, Catriona or fondly called Kak Kek informed that she met Ika backstage after the program ended.
“I had advice her at the backstage, about five minutes. I advise her that you are only 16 years old and not yet an artist. If one day, you succeed in entering the entertainment industry, where will you go with this attitude ?
“I gave a good warning so that she understands that manners are very important no matter who we are and don’t forget the four things which are attitude, respect, discipline and humility,” she said.
